Wonderful product!! I’ve been using the cream and spray now for 2.5 weeks. (used for 1 week before radiation started as suggested) Have had 8 radiation sessions and my skin looks great!! No redness or tightness. I perform my skin care 5x/day. Also using green tea spray as suggested by my doctor, and additional aloe vera as described by another Dermavitality user in their comments. 1 tube of cream has lasted for 2.5 weeks, (glad I bought 2). Even though this product was pretty expensive, I felt secure and had great expectations since it was developed by a nurse and cancer patient, and it has lived up to those expectations. This calendula cream for radiation effectively works for me as soon as my radiated area in my left breast starts to get tight , itch and painful I applied it right away to sooth and calm my skin and it is non greasy and has a cool effect that relieves the pain. The cream absorbs fast in my skin. I use it every 4 hours during radiation and twice a day after my radiation was done.

I used the lavender spray every day immediately after radiation, let it dry, and then applied the unscented cream. I also applied pure aloe vera gel, let it dry, and then applied the radiatuon cream every morning after showering/3 hours prior to radiation treatment. My radiation oncologist is impressed that I only have 2 small reddened areas, but no open skin after 29 treatments. I have 4 more to go!

I was gifted the Radiation Relief Cream and Spray. I am going through Proton Radiation in Baltimore at the University of Maryland Proton Therapy Center for throat and neck cancer. Immediately after radiation treatment in the hip/pelvic area, my husband developed what looked like a very bad sunburn. It was either radiation burn, or a delayed non-allergic reaction to an antibiotic he finished during radiation week. Regardless, I happened upon Dermavitality when searching for a product to help with radiation burn. The first product I read about had mixed reviews and possible allergic reactions, which then lead me to Dermavitality's radiation burn cream. I contacted them by Chat. Mark was extremely responsive, and assisted in expediting an order that included a spray to use after refrigerating first, followed by a cream. My husband's skin was so sensitive to touch so the spray seemed to be the way to go. We used the both the spray followed by the cream, and the rash seemed to clear up almost before our eyes! The second day, there was no need to use the spray as his skin was no longer sensitive. We used it on occasion, but primarily the cream. He also had some dry flaky skin that I used the cream on, and it moisturized it immediately. No sticky or oily residue. The skin seemed to drink it up. I ordered the radiation spray and radiation cream. They both are amazing. Initially I used only the cream but as I had more radiation treatments and became red and tender the spray really helped to cool my skin. The spray helps when the skin is too tender to touch. Dermativity samples were given by my radiation nurse. After just one use I was a fan. My breast was badly burned and swollen from radiation. I tried the creams prescribed by my doctor but they were of no help. I use the dermativity cream and spray about 3 times daily and can see that my skin is starting to heal. Before starting 15 sessions of radiation. I started looking for a cream that was specifically for radiation treatment. I found this miracle cream. I brought 4 creams and the spray. I used the spray right after the treatment and at home I applied the cream. I was applying it around 6 times a day. The cream has a great fragrance, is not greasy, and feels soothing when applied. If you love lavender, you're fine. I find it a bit strong. Unfortunately I didn't have the cream til after my treatments. But it helps keep it moist, and not so stiff like scabs can get, especially if it's covering half your chest. It does pretty good for itching and burning. Can't say it cures all the discomfort but it helps.

I started searching for a moisturizer before my radiation. Initially I was told to use aquaphor, but I wanted something more to sooth and calm my skin. I started before radiation moisturizing like crazy. I'm currently on my #10 session of radiation therapy for my breast. My skin feels good no change in color yet, just a little warm sensation. The spray also helps to cool off and doing colloidal oatmeal soaking in the area. Amazin!! My skin care routine is, aloe vera for 10 mins (wash it off), oatmeal soak for 10 to 15 mins, then the radiation relief spray, follow my the relief cream, a layer of calendula healing balm and dome aquaphor. The radio relief cream is a most!!

As a pharmacist and radiation patient, I highly recommend Dermavitality Radiation Relief Cream. I will not use body products that are petroleum based or contain parabens, so when my doctor told me to use Aquaphor I knew I had to find an alternative. Dermavitality worked great for me, I applied it two to four times a day throughout my treatment and only had very minimal skin peel on my most sensitive areas. It worked immediately for any itching that came up, and the spray was handy for that. I really enjoyed the soothing properties of the lavender. Such a wonderful product, thank you!
